Kick-off ASU’s Salute to Service week and their big “blackout” game against USC on Saturday, Nov 9th. Join the Valley Athletic Booster Club at its next luncheon, Friday, November 8th at noon, at Macayo’s Depot Cantina, 300 South Ash Ave, Tempe, located just west of Mill and 3rd, adjacent to the railroad tracks.
Our guest speakers will be ASU Women’s Head Basketball Coach, Charli Turner Thorne. Coach Charli will brief the club on her squad and their upcoming season. Due to her tight schedule, Charli will take the microphone precisely at 12 noon. We respectfully ask that you arrive early and serve yourself lunch from the buffet so you won’t miss Charli’s remarks.
Also joining us is ASU legend, and former NFL defensive lineman, Jeremy Staat (1996-97). Jeremy will offer his analysis of the ASU football team, share his Sun Devil story and post-football career.
A Q and A session will be held for both.
Space is limited to the first 100 respondents and your RSVP is required by Tuesday, November 5th. Please use this Evite and/or prepay via our web site: https://www.valleyathleticboosterclub.com/events/
Admission for this luncheon is $20 for members and $25 for non-members. It includes a delicious buffet lunch and one raffle ticket for terrific door prizes. A cash bar is available. Additional raffle tickets can be purchased at registration (1 for $5 and 3 for $10). There’s ample onsite free parking.
Onsite registration opens Friday, November 8th at 11:15 AM. In an effort to speed up the registration queue, we encourage attendees to pre-register and pay for the luncheon using our website link here: https://www.valleyathleticboosterclub.com/events/
You may also pay by phone in advance by calling Amy at 480-442-7690.
Lunch is guaranteed for everyone that pays by November 5th.
Walk-ups are welcome but there is no guarantee that lunch will be available, as we turn in a headcount on Tuesday.
Note: the NCAA and ASU Compliance prohibit high school students from attending this event.
